MAFLO for Lighting & Electrical

A bad driver out the door becomes a thousand angry calls.

LED panels, drivers, fittings — your customer doesn't see the BOM, they see a bulb that failed in week three. MAFLO catches the off-spec driver before it leaves the gate, traces the batch when a customer calls, and reports the recurrence so you can fix the supplier.

Short answer

MAFLO is built for Indian lighting and electrical manufacturers (LED panels, drivers, fittings). Three-way traceability (SKU + batch + driver lot), sub-assembly QC, photometric spec checks on handheld, customer-return RCA workflows pre-populated from barcode lookup, and BIS / IEC audit-ready reporting. The 2026 dealer app catches sell-in vs sell-through gaps.

If you nodded at any of these

The pains we see in lighting & electrical every week.

  • LED drivers that pass QC at one batch and fail at the next — and nobody knows which RM lot was different
  • Customer complaints that arrive three weeks after dispatch with no batch traceability
  • Mixed-lot dispatches — half the carton is from one production run, half from another, both with different fail rates
  • Distributor returns piling up at the depot with no RCA going back to the line
  • BIS / IEC compliance reports being assembled manually for every audit
How MAFLO fits lighting & electrical

The nuance we build for, not around.

SKU + batch + driver lot — three-way traceability

A failed LED panel needs three answers: which SKU, which production batch, which driver lot inside it. MAFLO's barcode lookup returns all three from a single scan — and the QC readings that approved it.

Driver / component-level BOM

BOMs in lighting have sub-assemblies (driver, housing, lens). MAFLO tracks the sub-assembly QC separately and rolls failures up — a 2% driver fail rate doesn't hide inside the finished-product number.

Customer-spec luminance + power factor

Spec lines like "≥ 100 lm/W, PF ≥ 0.9" stored against the customer master. Handheld QC reads the actual photometric values and flags below-target before below-spec.

Returns → RCA loop

A returned product opens an incident with the barcode pre-filled, the production batch identified, and the QC readings from that batch visible to the engineer assigned. RCA happens in minutes, not days.

Built into the handheld

QC checkpoints your quality head will recognise.

These are the checks your line operators read against on the MAFLO handheld. Configurable per customer — your team can edit them without us.

Luminous flux (lumens) — sample lux meter reading
Power factor (PF) — at rated load
Total Harmonic Distortion (THD %) — driver quality
Surge protection (binary) — 4 kV / 6 kV test
Colour temperature (K) — within range of customer spec
CRI (colour rendering index)
Driver burn-in (hours) — sample run
Insulation resistance (sample)

The channel layer (2026)

Where dealer-loyalty plays in lighting & electrical.

Lighting brands sell through 50–500 dealers. The 2026 dealer app lets each dealer scan the carton on receipt; the loyalty engine rewards sell-through, not sell-in. You catch ghost orders, sham returns and slow-moving dealers without manual reconciliation.

Vertical-specific FAQ

The questions you'd ask first.

Can MAFLO track the driver lot inside an LED panel separately from the panel SKU?

Yes. MAFLO supports sub-assembly BOMs — the driver is its own component with its own batch barcode. A finished panel's barcode lookup returns the panel batch, the driver lot, the housing lot and the QC readings on each. Failures roll up to the right supplier.

How does MAFLO help with BIS / IEC audit prep?

Process Inspections record the auditor name, audit start time, parameters captured and the Open NC / Closed NC count. Specification cum Inspection reports print to the format auditors expect. The report is built as you produce — not after the audit notice arrives.

Can we trace a 6-month-old customer complaint back to the production batch?

Yes. MAFLO retains barcode and QC records indefinitely (subject to retention policy). A barcode lookup on a returned product returns the production batch, the operator, the QC readings, the dispatch record and the original PO. RCA workflows pre-populate from this.

Share five SKUs and a sample order from your business. We'll set up MAFLO on a sandbox with your data and show you — on a call — how the leakages show up, how the floor reports up, how the customer sees the dispatch. Then you decide.
